Privacy policy
StreamOrg keeps only what it needs to work, never sells or shares data, and shows no ads. This page says exactly what is kept, why and for how long.
Who runs StreamOrg
StreamOrg (streamorg.com and streamorg.com.br) is run by Henrique Barros, who is responsible for the data described here.
Questions and requests: streamorg@outlook.com.
If you have a StreamOrg account
- Your account: username, e-mail, display name, language, time zone, theme and profile picture. Your password is never stored, only a one-way fingerprint of it (Argon2id).
- What you organise: your keys (every code encrypted), content, collabs, streamers, embargoes and giveaways.
- Your sessions: the browser, the address (IP) and the times you signed in and were last active, so you can see and end them.
- Sign-in attempts, to slow down password guessing: kept for one day.
If you sign in as a viewer
- Your Twitch account id, name, display name and the address of your Twitch profile picture.
- The prizes you won and claimed, with their keys and when you claimed them.
Twitch sign-in asks for no permission, and the access Twitch grants is revoked as soon as StreamOrg knows who you are: StreamOrg can never read or post anything on your account.
Giveaways
When you win, the streamer records your Twitch name so that only your account can claim the prize. Your Twitch display name also appears next to the prize on the giveaway's public prize page, which anyone with its link can open.
When you enter a giveaway from the chat, your Twitch name and the time are kept only until the giveaway is finished, then deleted.
The chat bot
The StreamOrg bot only joins the Twitch chats of streamers who add it (or have an administrator add it, which they can undo on their profile). It answers commands and, while the channel is live, keeps simple statistics for that streamer.
- What: your Twitch account id, name and display name; per broadcast, the number of messages you sent and roughly how long you were in the chat (checked once a minute), with the content the streamer had live and the stream category. Never the text of your messages, and no record of who used a command.
- Why: so the streamer can see how their streams and sponsored content did with their community.
- Who sees it: the streamer of that channel and StreamOrg's administrator. Your total watch time in that channel (and since when it is counted) can also be shown in its chat to anyone who asks the bot, with the watch time command and your name. It is never sold or shared.
- Channel events: when you follow, subscribe, give a subscription, cheer bits, raid or share a watch streak in that channel, your Twitch name and what it was (the tier, the months, the amount), never the text. Kept for 90 days.
- Follower list: only in channels where StreamOrg's administrator switched it on, the channel's follower list (Twitch id, name and when you followed) is checked once a day, to tell the streamer who stopped following. It is kept while the check is on.
- How long: 12 months, then deleted. The bot's activity log (which command was answered in which channel, without viewer names) is deleted after 14 days.
To have your statistics deleted, write to the address under Your rights.
Twitch and hosting
Data is exchanged with Twitch only to provide these features, under Twitch's own terms. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.
StreamOrg runs on a server rented from Hetzner, in the European Union.
Cookies
Only the cookies StreamOrg needs to work: your session, your language choice and, for private key vaults, the cookie that keeps the vault open while you are signed in. No analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers.
How long data is kept
- Account data: for as long as the account exists. Ask for it to be deleted at streamorg@outlook.com.
- Viewer profiles: until you delete yours, in My prizes.
- Giveaway records: the streamer keeps the record that a prize went to a winner; deleting your viewer profile removes your name from it.
- Chat statistics from the bot: 12 months.
- Channel events: 90 days.
Your rights
Under Brazil's LGPD and similar laws you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data. Viewers can delete their profile themselves in My prizes. For anything else, write to streamorg@outlook.com and you will get an answer within 15 days.
